I'm looking for a information pertaining to what guest speakers/presenters/alumni we've had come talk to us in the past, or came to UM-D as a result of ACM-Dearborn's efforts.

Can anyone provide me with that information? I wish to use it for PR purposes.

Thanks,
Steve

Gerry Leitao - [Vice President, Michigan Region responsible for Compuware professional services operations in Michigan, including the automotive, healthcare, government and commercial markets. Key clients include GM, GM OnStar, Ford and DCX as well as a number of large government and healthcare institutions. Mr. Leitão is an industry thought leader and involved in setting strategy for Compuware's professional services organization including expansion into the Machine to Machine (M2M) sector.] Talk on Telematics and IT Global Supply Chain (2 separate topics)

Adam Rose - [Past UMD ACM President / UPE President, Currently working at DaimlerChrysler doing IT development/project management] Presentation on Project Management

Richard Caste - [Recent retiree from DCX, used to maintain several Data Centers] - Presentation on IT resumes, application process, and interviewing for an IT job.

I think that was all, but I could be missing one... Those were the ones from this past year. As far as years before that, UPE and ACM used to do a lot of joint hosted events, and pretty much all those speakers are on the UPE website at www.engin.umd.umich.edu/~upe

Hope this helps!

Thanks Nate. I'll scour that for more info. Is there any plans for UPE and ACM to do more joint hosting of guest speakers and such?
